General Manager Sales

Role & responsibilities :

1. Must be able to take stock of actual sales situation & prepare strategy for our products.

2. Capital equipment field sales experience

3. Strategic Planning

4. Manage an effective feedback loop from the sales team to the development teams

5. Driving sales objectives and achieving commercial budget and targets
6. Manage the P&L of the overall sales
7. Build well targeted sales plans and strategies for allocating resources and driving sales activities to achieve targets

8. Drive profitable growth year on year by significantly outperforming the current sales

9. Identifying and acquiring new customers, as well as up-selling to the existing customer base

10. Preparing accurate monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts

11. Appointing sales personnel, distributors, representatives & sales channel

12. Relations building with distributors & representatives

Requirements:

1. A good listener, must have self opinion, be able to drive the team in a sophisticated manner

2. Must have All India exposure & presently leads a team of atleast 4 personnel

3. Is stable with not many job changes

4. 10 to 15 years of leadership experience in the field of capital equipment sales.

5. A diploma/degree in sales, marketing, business administration or related field. Technical degree is a plus point.
6. Someone who has a strong sense of initiative and personal leadership, demonstrating the ability to function independently and comfortable working in geographically wide-spread teams
7. A person who is articulate, organised, detail-oriented and has the ability to multi-task

8. strong team player who can build good relationships at all levels of an organisation
