About the Job Role: As an HR Data Analytics and Business Partner with 3+ years of experience, you will be pivotal in using data analytics to drive HR strategy and business decision-making. In this role, you will analyse HR data to provide insights into workforce trends, employee engagement, retention, and performance. You will also collaborate with senior leadership to align HR initiatives with organizational goals, enabling the business to optimize its transitional activities of the business. Your experience in data analytics, reporting, and HR systems will be essential for developing data-driven solutions and improving business outcomes.


Job Responsibilities:

1. HR Data Analytics

  • Data Collection & Analysis: Lead the end-to-end process of data collection, management, and analysis for HR metrics such as headcount, turnover, compensation, engagement, and diversity.

o Data Visualization & Reporting: Develop advanced reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView to track KPIs, trends, and key business metrics for HR leaders and executives.

  • Advanced Analytics: Perform advanced statistical analysis, predictive modelling, and trend forecasting using tools such as R, Python, or SAS to provide insights into future workforce needs, talent gaps, and retention strategies.

o Data Accuracy & Integrity: Ensure the datas accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems, working closely with HRIS and IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies.


2. Business Partnering:

  • Consultative Support: Act as a strategic advisor to senior management and business leaders, using data insights to guide decisions related to workforce planning, organizational design, and talent management.
  • Data-Driven Recommendations: Provide actionable insights and recommendations for HR strategies, such as improving employee engagement, optimizing staffing, reducing turnover, and improving workforce productivity.

o Stakeholder Management: Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders in HR, Finance, and Operations to align HR initiatives with overall business objectives.


3. HR Metrics & Dashboards:

  • HR KPIs: Define, track, and report on key HR metrics, including but not limited to: recruitment, retention, employee engagement, performance, and compensation.
  • Dashboard Creation: Lead the design and development of dynamic dashboards to provide real-time insights to HR leadership and other business units. Use Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools to create user-friendly visualizations that simplify complex data.
  • Benchmarking: Conduct market benchmarking studies and competitor analysis to guide compensation strategies and identify areas of improvement in HR practices.

4. Workforce Planning & Talent Insights:

  • Workforce Forecasting: Use historical data and predictive analytics techniques to forecast talent needs and assist in the creation of effective workforce strategies.
  • Retention & Attrition Analysis: Conduct deep-dive analyses into turnover and retention rates, identifying underlying trends and providing actionable insights for improving retention strategies.

5. HR Systems & Tools:

  • HRIS & Data Integration: Work closely with HRIS (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM) and other HR systems to integrate and leverage data for reporting, analysis, and decision-making.
  • Data Warehousing & SQL: Utilize data warehousing tools and write complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets from multiple HR and business systems.
  • Automation & Data Pipelines: Implement automation for data collection, reporting, and analysis processes, reducing manual effort and improving efficiency through the use of tools such as Alteryx or Microsoft Power Automate.

6. Reporting & Presentations:

  • Executive Reporting: Provide regular reports to senior management, highlighting key trends and making data-driven recommendations for HR and business strategies.
  • Presentation Skills : Present complex data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, using data storytelling to support HR initiatives and business goals.

  • 7. Project Management & Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • o HR Analytics Projects: Lead cross-functional HR analytics projects from concept to execution, ensuring timely delivery of insights and solutions that meet business needs.
  • o Process Improvement: Continuously look for ways to streamline HR processes using data insights, enhancing the efficiency and impact of HR initiatives.

  • Required Skills & Qualification:
  • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience in HR data analytics, business partnering, or a similar analytical role within HR. Demonstrated expertise in using HR analytics tools to provide actionable insights.

  • Education: Bachelors / Masters degree in human resources, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

  • Technical Skills:
  • Data Analytics Tools & Languages: Proficiency in SQL, R, Python, and SAS for data manipulation (added advantage but not mandatory), statistical analysis, and predictive modeling.
  • Data Visualization Tools: Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView to create interactive dashboards and reports.

  • HRIS Platforms: Experience working with HR systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or similar platforms for data management and reporting.

  • Data Integration & Automation: Knowledge of tools like Alteryx, Microsoft Power Automate, and ETL processes to automate data flows and reporting.
  • Advanced Excel: Expert-level Excel skills, including advanced functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and complex formulas).

  • PowerPoint Presentation: Expert in preparing presentations for the business.

  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of HR processes and how data can be leveraged to improve business and workforce outcomes. Experience working with senior leadership to drive data-based HR decisions.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex problems and provide innovative, data driven solutions that directly align with business objectives.

  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Project Management: Proven experience managing analytics projects with cross-functional teams, meeting deadlines, and delivering results.
