Roles and Responsibilities

Goods Receipt

• To receive all the goods strictly as per the specifications of the product as per Purchase Order
• Ensure that the goods are received with all the nessacery documents.
• Create Goods Receipt entry in ERP Systems and send required documents to accounts

Inventory Management

• Ensure utmost care towards safety, security and upkeeping of the inventory lying in the stores department
• Ensure to update the user departments with all the necessary information about the goods received
• Periodic inventory physical verification and inform accounts and GM for any shortage and excess inventory lying in the stores for quick action

Issuance of goods

Goods has to be issued to Housekeeping, Kitchen, Bar and Maintenance and general purpose strictly as per the indent raised in the system by respective department.

Maintain issue slips/ issue register (in system) as per the policy

Booking of issue related entries in the ERP

Others

• To Coordinate all the functions of the team within the departments
• Maintain proper records of goods received, goods issued and quantity of stocks
• Assist the Purchase Manager to ensure that the goods received are of the quality and quantity ordered
• Handle additional responsibilitys as & when delegated by the management.
• Other duties as may be assigned by Purchase Manager on time to time basis to meet departmental efficiency.
• Be ready and responsible for any job. Which may be assigned by the Management.
• Adhere to the policies & standards operating procedures of the company.
