Role Description :

As an Odoo Developer at IBO, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, customizing, and optimizing our Odoo ERP system.

You will be responsible for the daily technical operations related to Odoo, including system configuration, module development, and implementation of tailored solutions to meet IBO's specific business needs.

This is an on-site position in Bengaluru, requiring close collaboration with other team members.

Responsibilities :

- Custom Module Development : Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Odoo modules to extend the platform's functionality and address specific business requirements.

- Odoo Configuration & Administration : Configure and maintain the Odoo system, including user management, security settings, and system parameters.

- Implementation & Integration : Implement new Odoo modules and integrate them with existing systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation.

- Debugging & Troubleshooting : Identify and resolve technical issues, including bugs, performance bottlenecks, and integration problems.

- Database Management : Work with PostgreSQL databases, writing SQL queries for data retrieval, manipulation, and analysis.

- Reporting & Analytics : Develop and customize Q-Web reports to provide valuable insights into business operations.

- Front-End Development : Contribute to basic front-end development, including customizing Odoo views and templates.

- Version Control : Utilize Git for version control, ensuring code quality and efficient collaboration.

- Documentation : Create and maintain technical documentation for custom modules and system configurations.

- Collaboration : Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.

- Performance Optimization : Optimize Odoo performance to ensure responsiveness and scalability.

- Staying Up-to-Date : Keep abreast of the latest Odoo features, updates, and best practices.

Qualifications :

- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Odoo development.

- Strong proficiency in Python programming and object-oriented programming concepts.

- Deep understanding of Odoo's core architecture, data models, and workflow.

- Extensive experience in developing and debugging custom Odoo modules.

- Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL and the ability to write complex SQL queries.

- Proficiency in Q-Web reporting and basic front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

- Experience with Git and other version control systems.

- Familiarity with Linux operating systems (Ubuntu).

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with Odoo ERP implementations in a retail or e-commerce environment.

- Knowledge of Odoo API and integration with third-party systems.

- Experience with Odoo's front-end framework (JavaScript, XML).
