IBO - Lead - Projects - Retail Store Planning & Execution (7-18 yrs)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Projects role with a strong background in retail store planning and execution. This role involves overseeing projects from the initial planning stages to completion, ensuring the effective coordination of design, budgeting, and execution of retail store fit-outs.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution:

- Lead and manage retail store projects from the scratch, including planning, designing, and setting up Bill of Quantities (BOQ), design specifications, costing, and budgets.

- Ensure adherence to timelines and standard specifications, overseeing the entire fit-out process.

Collaboration & Coordination:

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Business Development (BD), Operations (Ops), Category, Finance and Marketing departments to ensure smooth execution and alignment with business objectives.

Contractor Oversight & Compliance :

- Oversee the contractor's construction work, ensuring it complies with project specifications, drawings, safety regulations, and quality standards.

- Implement cost control strategies and monitor contractor performance to ensure timely completion.

Project Budget Management:

- Ensure the timely execution of projects within the allocated budget, ensuring the proper implementation of cost control measures.

- Track project spending and ensure financial discipline throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications & Skills :

- Proven experience in retail store planning, project execution, and fit-out management.

- Strong understanding of HVAC, MEP, BOQ, design specifications, costing, and budgeting.

- Ability to manage and coordinate cross-functional teams effectively.

- Experience in overseeing contractor work and ensuring compliance with project standards.

- Strong project management skills, including the ability to maintain schedules, documentation, and budgets.

- Knowledge of MEP and design processes for retail stores.

- Excellent communication skills for regular interactions with teams and stakeholders.

- Familiarity with project tracking tools and MIS systems.
