Position Overview:
- Our client is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their executive team in a fully remote capacity.
- The CFO will be responsible for the financial strategy and overall financial management of the company.
- This role includes overseeing accounting operations, financial planning, budgeting, and financial reporting, while ensuring alignment with business goals.
- The position requires monthly travel to the company's headquarters for collaboration and strategic meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of the company's financial strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Ensure the accuracy of financial statements and compliance with internal standards.
- Drive capital structure decisions, including financing, debt management, and equity transactions.
- Collaborate with the executive leadership team to develop and implement strategies for growth and profitability.
- Provide strategic guidance on M&A opportunities, including due diligence and integration.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including investors and private equity partners.
- Oversee internal controls and ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal audit processes.
- Lead the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) team to deliver actionable insights to senior leadership.
Qualifications.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- MBA preferred.
- Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role, ideally within an international or consulting environment.
- Strong understanding of financial management, strategic planning, and capital structure.
- Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with global teams.
