Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support L2 to join our team and provide technical
support for various hardware and software platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong
understanding of hardware troubleshooting, networking, and IT service management. This role
involves ensuring that service level agreements (SLAs) are met and delivering efficient, reliable
IT support across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Service Level Agreement Management: Ensure all SLAs are maintained and addressed
promptly.
Manage hardware for desktops, laptops, printers, plotters, and IoT devices.
Assemble, install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and peripherals.
Manage passive networking requirements, including cabling, crimping, punching, and IO testing.
Handle all network-related calls, both active and passive.
Apply updates and patches to systems as needed.
Create and manage user policies and group email IDs.
Provide one-on-one support to end-users for Windows, MS Office, Office 365, OneDrive (E1,
E3, E5), and other essential applications.
Install and support engineering software such as AutoCAD, Aspen, AMS Suite, SAP, Solid
Edge, Unigraphics, and others.
Provide remote support via Team Viewer, AnyDesk, VNC, SCCM Client, Microsoft OCS, Skype
for Business, and Microsoft Teams.
Maintain accurate records for hardware, software, printer inventory, and software licenses.
Troubleshoot and replace components for branded systems (Dell, HP, Lenovo, Asus, Acer, etc.)
Coordinate maintenance of leased lines and broadband connections.
Provide support to the helpdesk engineer team, ensuring seamless troubleshooting and issue
resolution.
Proven experience in hardware troubleshooting, networking, and IT support.
Proficiency with desktop/laptop/printer/plotter installation and maintenance.
Knowledge of Ethernet and network cabling setup.
Familiarity with engineering software installation and user support.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
