About the Role:

Eagle Group of Companies is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Market Research and Pricing Research Executive to join our team. This role focuses on gathering and analyzing data to inform business decisions, particularly in the USA and China markets. You will play a crucial role in identifying growth opportunities, developing competitive pricing strategies, and ensuring our products remain optimally positioned in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Market Research:
   
• Conduct detailed research on market trends, customer preferences, and industry developments in the USA and China markets.
• Stay informed about competitors' product offerings, pricing strategies, and market positioning.
• Use tools like Google Keyword Planner and other analytics platforms to identify product demand and emerging trends.
2. Pricing Analysis:
   
• Perform competitive pricing analysis and recommend strategies to maintain profitability and competitiveness.
• Ensure product pricing aligns with a target profit margin of 30-40% while staying competitive on platforms like Amazon, Wayfair, and other marketplaces.
• Maintain and update a pricing database for internal reference.
3. Data Interpretation & Reporting:
   
• Prepare detailed market and pricing reports for decision-making by senior management.
• Develop dashboards and data visualizations to present research findings clearly.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
   
• Work closely with sales, product development, and marketing teams to align market insights with business goals.
• Provide actionable recommendations to optimize product listings and pricing strategies for the USA and China markets.
5. Continuous Improvement:
   
• Evaluate and enhance research tools and methodologies to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in market and pricing research.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (2+ years) in market and pricing research for USA or China markets.
• Bachelors degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, and market research software.
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms like Shopify, Amazon, and Wayfair.
• Knowledge of industries like Lighting, Solar, Bath Products, Furniture, or Hospitality Supplies is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively.
