POSITION OVERVIEW

The Associate Product Manager is the voice of the customer and plays a crucial role in understanding business problems that are profitable for e2open to solve and are aligned with the companys strategy and core competencies. The Associate Product Manager must translate these business problems into product specifications for the development team to work on and package the product for adoption by end users, customers, and other stake holders such as product communications, operations, professional services, sales, and marketing.

RESPONSIBILITES:

• Participate in discovery sessions with the customers to understand the business problems and translate them into detailed feature specifications, acceptance use cases, epics and stories, and other artifacts that Development needs.
• Curate and maintain product roadmaps and deliver standard roadmap updates to internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain elevated level of engagement with select customers to understand their business needs and gain their acceptance on the product roadmap and capabilities.
• Identify user experience needs and work with UX designers to deliver an engaging user experience.
• Define acceptance criteria for releasing app features.
• Collaborate with the team of technical writers to create product documentation and other artifacts that are needed by all stake holders in the company and customers.
• Collaborate on standard demo scenarios and datasets. Demo new features to the customers and other stakeholders, gather their feedback and incorporate them in the applications roadmap.
• Other tasks and activities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Undergraduate degree in engineering or business administration. A post-graduate degree is a plus.
• > 4 years as a Business Analyst or related field or 1-2 years as a Product Manager in a software company delivering supply chain or other enterprise solutions.
• Experience in one or more of these enterprise applications is preferred: WiseTech, CargoWise, SAP, Oracle, Blue Yonder, Descartes.
• Experience in the freight forwarding industry is preferred.
• Familiar with scrum and should be familiar with agile methodologies.
• Familiar with enterprise grade software product independently.
• Proven problem-solving, critical thinking, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in one or more of these enterprise applications is preferred: SAP, Oracle, Blue Yonder (i2), o9, Kinaxis, Manhattan, Descartes, Thomas Reuters, Model N, 360Insights, OpenText.
