React.js Developer - Javascript (4-9 yrs)

What Will You Be Doing :

- Develop new user-facing features

- Build reusable code and libraries for future use

- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs

- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability

- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders in an agile team and with agile practices

- Evolve Jobrapido's code base to keep state-of-the-art technology

What Are the Competencies & Qualifications Needed :

- Proficient understanding of web mark-up, including HTML5, CSS3.

- Familiarity with template engines, such as Handlebars, is a plus

- Good understanding of CSS pre-processors, such as LESS and SASS

- Good understanding of JavaScript client-side scripting, including XHR, AJAX, and data flow architectures such as flux and redux

- Good understanding of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS and ReactJS.

- Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform adjustments on images.

- Familiarity with tools such as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus.

- Previous experience in unit testing and TDD. E2E tests experience is a plus

- Proficient use of build tools such as Webpack or Gulp / Grunt

- Good understanding of/experience with agile methodology

- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.

- Proficient understanding of Git and pull requests workflow

- Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that applications will adhere to them.

- BS in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience

- 2-5 years working experience in similar roles

- Good written and spoken English
