Hiring Solar Project Manager - Dyna Solar

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Quotations:
   
• Lead the preparation of detailed quotations for solar projects, including material costs, labor, and other required resources.
• Work with the sales, engineering, and procurement teams to ensure the quotations are accurate and align with customer needs and project requirements.
2. Finalizing Project Rates and Billing:
   
• Finalize project rates by evaluating material and labor costs, and ensuring the proposed pricing is competitive and profitable.
• Oversee the billing process, ensuring accurate and timely invoices are sent to customers.
• Track customer payments and follow up on any outstanding payments to ensure financial goals are met.
3. Preparation of Sales Orders (SO):
   
• Prepare and manage sales orders for solar projects, ensuring all project-specific details are captured, including materials, resources, and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with the procurement and operations teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and material delivery.

1. Preparation of BOM/BOQ:
   
• Oversee the preparation of the Bill of Materials (BOM) and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for each solar project, ensuring accurate lists of materials and components are used.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure the availability and timely delivery of materials required for project execution.
2. Ongoing Project Updates and Pending Activities:
   
• Monitor and track the progress of ongoing solar projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Provide regular updates on project milestones, key activities, and pending tasks, including customer payment follow-ups and material procurement.
• Identify and resolve any project-related challenges or delays, ensuring smooth execution.
3. Vendor and Supplier Coordination:
   
• Manage relationships with key vendors and suppliers for solar panels, inverters, and installation services (I&C).
• Ensure that materials are delivered on time and meet the necessary specifications for each project phase.
• Negotiate contracts and manage supplier performance to ensure project goals are met within the defined scope, time, and cost.
4. Team Leadership and Coordination:
   
• Lead and manage project teams, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure clear communication and collaboration across teams, including design, engineering, procurement, installation, and commissioning.
5. Documentation and Record-Keeping:
   
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation for all projects, including quotations, sales orders, billing, BOM/BOQ, and vendor contracts.
• Ensure that all project-related records are securely stored and easily accessible for future reference.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  
• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience:
  
• 10+ years of experience in solar project management or related field, including hands-on experience in project execution, coordination, and delivery.
• Proven experience in managing solar projects from conception to completion, including handling quotations, billing, and sales orders.
• Familiarity with solar panel systems, inverters, and other solar components.
• Skills:
  
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Strong financial acumen for budgeting, billing, and tracking project costs.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, solar industry standards, and safety regulations.
