Finance Manager

Role & responsibilities

1. Preparation and presentation of Financial statement (PL , BS, Cash flow and schedules) as per Ind AS and AS, Audit (statutory, Internal, Tax )

2. Bank Loan Proposals and Financial Institution Coordination:

• Open, track, and manage import documentation Letters of Credit with banks, ensuring timely and accurate payments
• Prepare loan proposals for new loans, enhancements, or renewals. This includes preparing all documentation and financial projections as needed.
• Manage the submission of loan proposals to banks and financial institutions, ensuring that all required documents are submitted on time and according to the terms agreed with the lenders.
• Liaise with banks and financial institutions to resolve any issues or discrepancies related to bank advice or other financial matters.

3. Internal Control Function and Audit Compliance:

• Work closely with internal auditors, factories, and branches to facilitate audits. Ensure the completion of internal audits and resolve any discrepancies or findings.
• Prepare and review internal audit reports in coordination with management, addressing any major observations or deviations.

4. Performance Reporting & Variance Analysis:

• Prepare and present quarterly performance reports, including variance analysis, to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
• Provide recommendations for improvements or adjustments based on the analysis of performance data and financial trends.

Preferred candidate profile

• Educational Background:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Master's degree (MBA/CA/ICWA) preferred.

• Professional Experience:
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in a finance, accounting, or documentation management role.
• Required Skills & Competencies:
• Proficient in MS Excel (advanced), Word, and PowerPoint, ERP systems and financial management software.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks related to imports, banking, and loans.
• Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills especially in resolving discrepancies with banks and financial institutions.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for dealing with internal teams and external partners.
