Warehouse Incharge

Role & responsibilities

• Ensure the proper upkeep of all material in the warehouse, such that no quality issues arise within the warehouse
• Arrange all goods as per grades and products to enable faster dispatch on request
• Maintain stock registers and documentation work and update all inward and outward entries
• Ensure proper and error free accounting of warehouse activities
• Arrange for labour and organize the unloading and loading of goods to and from trucks for receiving inventory or for dispatch to customer
• Arrange for transportation for delivering goods to the customer from the warehouse
• Ensure timely delivery of goods to the customer from the warehouse
• Responsible to carry out physical stock checking on a quarterly basis
• Supervise labeling, storage of stickers and stamps in the Godown
• Maintain cartage vouchers for transportation from tempo/truck and labour
• Development, negotiation and coordination with vendors
• Quality check of material
• Reporting/ MIS of pending indents, quality report, godown stocks, DBM

Preferred candidate profile

• 5-7 years of relevant experience with good knowledge of components of inventory management and accounting

• Computer efficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and e-mail,
