DryChem - Lead IT Infrastructure Engineer (10-14 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a seasoned IT Infrastructure Lead with over 10 years of experience to oversee and manage our organization's IT infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will possess advanced technical expertise, strong managerial skills, and a proven track record in designing and implementing robust IT infrastructure solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Develop and execute strategies for designing, implementing, and maintaining IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, servers, and security systems.

- Lead the design and implementation of IT infrastructure solutions such as LAN, WAN, leased lines, Wi-Fi, and CCTV systems in factory units.

- Establish and enforce IT security policies, compliance measures, and IT audit controls.

- Collaborate with the Cybersecurity team to ensure adherence to Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) policies.

- Develop and manage IT awareness and training programs to enhance employee understanding of information and cyber security.

- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in infrastructure management and remote infrastructure technologies.

- Ensure optimal availability, performance, and security of the IT infrastructure, including disaster recovery and business continuity planning.

- Negotiate contracts, manage vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs).

- Implement and manage ITIL processes within the IT Service Desk Portal to enhance operational efficiency.

- Drive cost-effective IT solutions by developing and managing IT budgets, focusing on cost estimation, reduction, and expenditure tracking.

- Continuously monitor and improve IT systems to support the organization's strategic goals.

Skills and Qualifications :

- Proven experience (12+ years) as an IT Infrastructure Lead or a similar role.

- Expertise in IT infrastructure design, implementation, and management.

- Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN, leased lines, Wi-Fi, and CCTV systems.

- Experience in IT security, compliance, and auditing practices.

- Familiarity with ITIL processes and IT Service Desk Portals.

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills with a focus on practical solutions.

- Strong managerial skills to lead IT teams effectively.

- Proficiency in cost management, budget tracking, and financial planning for IT operations.

- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in infrastructure management
