Project Management - NPD (Plastic Toys Industry)

Role & responsibilities

1. Daily update to Project Head for development in Project.
2. Maintaining Project Documents.
3. Weekly update to Customer for development of Project.
4. Cost Management, time management, Quality Management and risk management.
5. Monitor all the development activities for tool, fixture, RM, BOP, PP and Packaging.
6. Single point contact to customer.
7. Communication with internal CFT through written communication.
8. Overall responsible for all the three deliveries i.e. time , quality and cost.
9. Life cycle of the product development and handle over all NPD project operation knowledge.
10. Lead the development of new mechanisms to achieve toy functionality goals.
11. Performs highly complex engineering activities involving multiple disciplines or technologies.
12. Performs activities related to platformed product development, specifically focusing on speed and cost efficiency.
13. Helps lead the development of improvements to product platforms & cost optimization.
14. Primary point of contact with dev houses, tooling, and plants, providing design guidance (facilitated as needed by Program Execution teams) per assigned project.
15. Define product function through Functional Spec and partner/align with QE testing/performance requirements.
16. Directs, mentors and educates others in engineering techniques.
17. Works on new product and projects; explores the market for new concepts and process.
18. Acts as team leader responsible for building strategic consensus between all team members.
19. Leads projects that have impact to organization & across departments.
20. Often Act independently, making decisions without management interaction to meet critical deadlines.
