Job Description

Role Purpose: The role is responsible for supporting the Corporate Finance in managing the accounting activities of one of the Subsidiary Company of DP World including Finalisation of accounts, Audit, Financial Planning and Analysis, Financial and Management reporting, Tax Accounting & Working Capital. The selected candidate will, jointly with other Managers, be responsible for a pool of Accountants.

Designation: Asst Manager / Manager- Financial Accounting - Global Service Centre

Base Location: Navi Mumbai

Reporting to: Finance Operational Leader

Key Role Responsibilities:

Managing day-to-day accounting transactions including the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Fixed Assets.
Review the accounting for all intercompany transactions.
Review the accounting for investments in Subsidiaries and Joint Ventures as well as shareholder funding.
Liaising with the Group Treasury to handle funding requirements on a regular basis.
Responsible for monthly Management Reporting and producing analytical reports as and when required, both for Group Finance as well as for the Divisional CFO of the Logistics Pillar.
Monthly Finalization of accounts in accordance with IFRS for the standalone Holdco and managing the half yearly as well as yearend audit along with the preparation of Financial Statements.
Managing the intercompany accounting and reconciliations with the parent company as well as subsidiaries and Joint Ventures.
Ensure financial controls and budgetary controls are in place and corporate governance is exercised across all transactions.
Ensure adherence to various company policies relating to Capex and Opex spending.
Work as a Business partner with the departments in helping them manage their budgets.
Manage the submission of Tax returns - VAT as well as CIT
