Key Responsibilities:
Stakeholder Management & Relationship Building:
- Serve as a trusted HR advisor and strategic partner to senior leadership, plant managers, and department heads within the assigned cluster of manufacturing sites.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand business priorities and provide tailored HR solutions.
- Collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between HR strategies and business goals.
- Act as a liaison between the HR function and other business functions (e.g., Operations, Finance, Supply Chain) to foster a collaborative, high-performance work environment.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate HR priorities and initiatives clearly, ensuring alignment across all levels.
Talent Management & Workforce Planning:
- Drive talent management initiatives, ensuring that the cluster has the right mix of skills to meet current and future business demands.
- Lead workforce planning efforts in partnership with business leaders, ensuring that workforce resources align with production needs and growth strategies.
- Partner with recruitment teams to ensure effective talent acquisition strategies for filling key positions, particularly for critical skill areas within manufacturing.
- Support leadership teams in succession planning and developing high-potential employees across the cluster.
Performance Management & Development:
- Champion performance management processes within the cluster, ensuring that they are aligned with business objectives and drive results.
- Work with managers to create effective performance improvement plans, providing coaching and feedback to ensure development and high performance.
- Foster a culture of continuous feedback, development, and accountability in partnership with plant leadership teams.
- Implement leadership development initiatives and training programs tailored to the needs of managers and supervisors in manufacturing environments.
Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Manage employee relations issues with a focus on conflict resolution, ensuring consistent and fair application of company policies and practices.
- Foster a positive work culture across all sites, focusing on employee engagement, motivation, and retention.
- Partner with leadership to improve employee engagement scores, and lead action plans to address areas of concern.
- Ensure consistent communication and feedback loops with employees to understand their needs and concerns, enhancing overall employee experience.
Change Management & Organizational Development:
- Lead organizational change initiatives in the cluster, including restructuring, mergers, acquisitions, or process changes, ensuring that employees are informed and supported through transitions.
- Provide guidance on managing resistance and building buy-in from key stakeholders during periods of change.
- Work with leaders to ensure that organizational structures, roles, and responsibilities align with business needs, driving operational efficiency.
- Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives and other projects aimed at enhancing organizational effectiveness and employee productivity.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure all HR policies, processes, and practices within the cluster comply with local labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Work closely with legal and compliance teams to address and mitigate any potential risks related to employee relations, health and safety, and labor agreements.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of labor legislation and regulations, advising senior leadership on compliance and HR-related legal matters.
- Ensure proper record-keeping and documentation for audits and regulatory reporting.
