Job Description
- Collect and analyze business requirements and prepare and present clear business and technical analysis.
- Configure and support current implementation of NetSuite One World, including multiple subsidiaries, system configuration, web services, and electronic payments.
- Support and assist in configuration of chart of accounts, GL, AP, AR, multiple currencies, asset management, customer, vendor and item masters.
- Develop, test and deploy customized fields, forms, workflows, custom records, advanced PDF templates and user roles to meet business requirements.
- Support finance teams in managing data quality by interfacing data from legacy systems.
- Contribute to solution design and development, participate in validation and testing of solutions.
- Review test conditions and expected results for product, performance, and user acceptance testing
- Work with business partners to ensure support tickets are efficiently resolved and tickets closed out within agreed upon SLA s.
- Configure and support use of NetSuite tax integrations through Avatax, Avalara ECM, and Avalara VAT Reporting
- Assist in the configuration and support of additional enterprise financial applications, such as OpenAir (NetSuite SuiteProjects Pro), OneStream, Coupa and Concur.
Required Experience/Skills:
- 2-5 years prior NetSuite/ERP experience in a software company is required.
- A good understanding of finance/accounting concepts systems is required.
- General understanding of software industry business practices as related to Finance/Accounting (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Invoicing), FPA, Procurement, and Professional Services.
- Strong quantitative skills, attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to support multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience supporting executive requests for reports, KPI s etc
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work creatively in problem solving environment.
- Ability to balance technical skills with business savvy - ability to transform end-user needs into technical and functional requirements.
- Excellent customer service skills; ability to form relationships both externally and internally
- A pro-active approach with the ability to think outside the box
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Experience:
- In addition to working with NetSuite applications, previous experience with the following applications is also desirable: SalesForce, Avalara, OneStream, OpenAir (NetSuite SuitProjects Pro), Coupa, Concur, and Docusign.
- Experience with software revenue recognition desired.
