Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Position Overview:

The Site Reliability team ensures that new software is released in a streamlined manner from development to production.

The Senior Site Reliability Engineer will work with a cross functional team to build tools used in software deployments and coordinating and pushing new releases to the production infrastructure. The Senior Site Reliability Engineer plays an integral role in implementing and executing product releases at Diligent.

• Strong leadership skills as well as excellent knowledge in most of technical capabilities related to the area.
• Able to direct the teams' activities, define and prioritize the technical roadmap of the team(s).
• Able to influence the engineering culture and practices of the teams, works with self-confidence with stakeholders outside of own team as well.
• Experienced mentor, able to hire and onboard new members to the team.

Required Experience/Skills

• 5+ Years’ experience in Build and Release Engineering/ Site Reliability.
• Experience with configuration management tooling such as Puppet/Chef/Ansible/Salt.
• Experience maintaining and building pipelines on CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins.
• Experience with source control management systems such as Git and Github.
• Proven scripting experience in a team like environment (Ruby/Groovy/Powershell preferred).

Preferred Experience/Skills 

• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker is a plus.
• Experience working in a Windows and Linux (Redhat/CentOS) environment.
