The Cloud Sales Specialist is responsible for driving revenue growth by selling cloud-based solutions (e.g., SaaS, IaaS, PaaS) to new and existing customers. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, customer needs, and the competitive landscape. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a strong ability to build relationships and close deals.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, qualify, and pursue new sales opportunities within assigned territories or accounts.
Develop and execute sales strategies to effectively position cloud solutions to prospective customers.
Conduct needs assessments and solution demonstrations to showcase the value proposition of cloud solutions.
Negotiate and close deals with customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and achieving sales targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within customer organizations.
Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in cloud computing and the competitive landscape.
Collaborate with other sales, marketing, and technical teams to achieve sales goals.
Utilize CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) to track sales activities, manage leads, and forecast sales.
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in selling cloud-based solutions (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS).
Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is essential.
