Business Development Manager - IT

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of the organization. The ideal candidate shall possess a strong passion for IT sales, along with a comprehensive understanding of SaaS-based solutions within the Education industry.

Role & responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities for DigitalEdu's enterprise solutions targeting universities and autonomous colleges.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in educational institutions.
• Drive end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation, solution presentation, and negotiation to
• closing deals.
• Collaborate with the product and marketing teams to tailor solutions that meet customer needs.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets by eff ectively managing the sales pipeline.
• Participate in relevant industry events and seminars to expand DigitalEdu's market presence.
• Provide market feedback to help refine DigitalEdu's products and services.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
• Familiarity with enterprise solutions, CRM tools, and sales forecasting.
• Experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the EdTech or higher education solutions industry.
