Position Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned Solution Architect with extensive experience in Retail, Footwear, and Apparel (RFA) domains. The role involves designing and implementing technical solutions using FlexPLM and related technologies while actively engaging with clients to understand their business needs. The candidate will also be responsible for system configuration, customizations, and end-to-end project lifecycle management. The ideal candidate will be customer-facing, proactive, and possess excellent technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities :

- Exposure to working with retailers and brands in RFA domains is mandatory.

- Strong retail business domain knowledge, including familiarity with retail business processes.

- Expertise in various modules of FlexPLM, Thingworx Retail Connector (TRC), and Flex Insight.

- Excellent Java and FlexPLM development skills.

- Strong understanding of database concepts and working knowledge of Oracle/SQL.

- Development and support for FlexPLM enhancements, bug fixes, change requests, workflows, reports, and root cause analysis (RCA).

- PLM to downstream integration development and system/application maintenance.

Solution Design and Development :

- Gather business requirements, provide technical solutions and estimations, and document them.

- Configure systems, create and document configurations, and work with team members to implement solutions.

- Develop end-to-end business solutions, including customization, event workflows, data orchestration, formulas, calculations, reports, and UI extensions.

Customer Engagement :

- Engage with customers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Actively participate in requirement and process workshops, listen to client needs, and ensure clarity in requirements.

- Conduct daily/weekly customer meetings to discuss progress and gather feedback.

Project Lifecycle Management :

- Oversee the entire project lifecycle, including system testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, deployments, and end-user training.

- Participate in application upgrade activities and build deployments.

Training and Support :

- Provide end-user training and support as needed.

- Collaborate with VibeIQ to learn and adapt to system usage and retail business processes.

Qualifications :

- Strong FlexPLM functional and technical domain knowledge.

- Proven experience in RFA projects.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Capable of translating client's business requirements into technology solutions and roadmaps.

- Ability to develop and maintain end-to-end business solutions.

- Adept at working with enterprise systems and automating processes.

Preferred Skills :

- Knowledge of Thingworx Retail Connector (TRC) and Flex Insight.

- Hands-on experience with system integrations, event workflows, and data orchestration.

- Strong documentation skills for configurations and customizations.
