Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Sales Leader to drive growth in Banking, Capital Markets, Digital Lending, Fintech, and related sectors.. The ideal candidate will have 12-15 years of experience in B2B SaaS or product sales in any of these industries. This role requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record in sales, team leadership, and driving revenue growth. You will be responsible for building and executing sales strategies, managing a team, and working closely with clients and product team to drive digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management & Strategy:
- Lead and manage a team of Product Sales Managers and Inbound Sales Representatives.
- Develop a vertical-wise sales roadmap with clear revenue, P&L, and strategic value goals.
- Define annual sales targets for the team, regularly track progress, and measure performance.
- Mentor and guide the sales team, ensuring they meet their goals and drive efficiency in sales processes.
- Review product usage metrics for key accounts and collaborate with the team to enhance product adoption.
Sales & Key Account Management:
- Lead new key account sales, with a focus on high-value accounts.
- Drive customer retention by ensuring satisfaction and strengthening long-term relationships with client senior management.
- Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities within existing accounts, increasing account size and value.
- Work closely with CXOs and product/business heads of clients to understand their needs and drive digital solutions.
- Engage with prospective customers, distribution channels, and system integrators to build a robust sales pipeline.
Product & Market Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the Product Team to scale proven use cases post-pilot phase.
- Work with Product Management and Product Marketing to crystallize strategies for scaling new use cases.
- Engage with champion customers to understand evolving needs and problem statements, translating these into actionable business and functional requirements with the Product Management team.
You are:
- The voice and champion of the customer, with high empathy and a customer-centric mindset.
- A proven B2B SaaS or Product Sales Leader with a demonstrated ability to lead a team and exceed sales targets.
- Analytical, articulate, and excellent in both written and spoken communication, with strong presentation skills.
- A relationship builder who values and nurtures long-term business connections.
- A sales professional with 12-15 years of experience in B2B software product sales, preferably in the financial services industry.
