IT Assistant Manager

Job Profile:

We are looking to hire a Linux, VMWare and Senior Windows Server Administrator to manage and maintain our Windows systems and Server Network. In this role, you will be responsible for installing or upgrading VMware, Linux and Windows-based systems and servers, managing user access to the servers, and maintaining the security and stability of the network.

To ensure success as a VMware, Linux and Windows Administrator, you should have in-depth knowledge of VMWare, Linux and Windows server setup, deployment, and maintenance, advanced coding skills, and the ability to solve complex IT issues. Ultimately, a top-class VMware and Windows Administrator ensures the smooth running of the company's networking and server systems, while maintaining a high level of security.

Job Description:

• Expert knowledge in Install, configure, and maintaining VMware , Linux and Windows Server operating systems and related hardware.
• Working knowledge on Virtual infrastructure VMware vSphere Hyper v is expected.
• Strong Knowledge in Windows Terminal Services and Administration.
• Expert knowledge in implementing managing and troubleshooting Active Directory DNS ADFS and Group Policies on Windows servers.
• Good understanding of Active Directory best practices health check reports hardening and security
• Maintaining server architecture security and creating system backups.
• Knowledge of AWS.
• Monitor server performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
• Windows desktop administration and troubleshooting.
• Discussing system and server upgrades with IT managers.
• Providing technical support for staff and back-end system users.
• Troubleshooting system and server errors.
• Reviewing system error logs and user-reported errors.
• Monitoring and updating the Windows code base.
• Managing user access.
• Monitoring system performance.

Server Administrator Requirements:

• Over 6+ Years of relevant experience in working with VMware and Microsoft Windows Server, Linux and Active Directory services.
• Bachelors degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
• Proven work experience as a Vmware, Linux and Windows Administrator is preferred.
• Detailed knowledge of Vmware and Windows server setup, deployment, and maintenance.
• Experience with databases, patch management, and networks including LAN and WAN.
• Familiarity with modern operating systems and server platforms.
• Knowledge of network security systems, intrusion detection systems, and data backup.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Good analytical and communication skills.
