Senior Database Administrator

Key Responsibilities

1. Install and configure Oracle databases and other RDBMS platforms on Linux systems.

2. Manage database performance, availability, and security.

3. Write and optimize SQL queries and DML/DDL operations.

4. Develop and maintain PL/SQL scripts for stored procedures, triggers, and functions.

5. Troubleshoot and resolve PL/SQL-related issues.

6. Implement high-availability solutions, including clustering and replication.

7. Monitor system performance and perform backups, restores, and disaster recovery tests.

8. Able to manage multiple sites and to monitor DB at AMC sites.

Qualifications

1. Proficiency in SQL, Oracle architecture, Linux Systems and Cloud Database.

2. Understanding of PL/SQL development.

3. Knowledge of high-availability techniques and database optimization.

4. Ability to install and manage databases on Linux

5. Certification in Oracle or other RDBMS platforms.

6. Familiarity with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., OCI, AWS RDS, Azure SQL)

7. Knowledge of verticals like Hospital management, Hospitality will be an advantage.
