Quality Assurance Engineer (5-7 yrs)

Job Description :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to oversee and enhance our quality assurance processes in the payment domain. This role involves planning, executing, and improving testing and inspection procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and expertise in quality management frameworks.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, implement, and manage quality assurance (QA) processes to ensure product compliance with specifications, industry standards, and customer requirements.

- Conduct testing and inspection of products and services to assess quality and conformance, proactively identifying areas for improvement.

- Track, document, and report quality metrics, CSR initiatives, environmental impact, and health & safety KPIs to ensure alignment with company objectives.

- Investigate product complaints and quality issues, ensuring timely resolution in compliance with company policies and external regulatory requirements.

- Maintain and update risk-management procedures, documenting issues and collaborating with product development teams for continuous improvement.

- Develop, refine, and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve complaint handling, investigation accuracy, and documentation efficiency.

- Provide training and mentorship to QA team members, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and best practices.

- Stay updated with industry trends, testing best practices, version control strategies, and defect management techniques to enhance quality processes.

Skills & Qualifications :

- 6-7 years of experience in quality assurance within the payments domain (FinTech, banking, or related industries).

- Professional certifications such as Six Sigma, CQE (Certified Quality Engineer), or CQA (Certified Quality Auditor) are highly preferred.

- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing tools, defect management, and version control practices.

- Proficiency in data analysis and database management to track and improve quality

performance.

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to manage risk and resolve complex quality issues.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.
