Job Overview :

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented API Quality Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, performance, and scalability of our APIs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automated testing methodologies, a solid understanding of cloud engineering practices, and the ability to collaborate effectively with development teams to deliver high-quality API solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement robust test strategies for APIs to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure APIs.

- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks for API endpoints using industry-standard testing tools.

- Work closely with development teams to identify, track, and resolve defects early in the development cycle, ensuring a smooth release process.

- Perform API performance testing, including load and stress testing, to evaluate and optimize scalability and response times.

- Document testing procedures, results, and improvement recommendations comprehensively for continuous process enhancement.

- Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the engineering team to drive operational excellence.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Proven experience in API testing, quality assurance methodologies, and ensuring high-performance API delivery.

- Strong expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript.

- Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Postman, JMeter, or other similar tools.

- Familiarity with AWS, serverless architectures, and cloud-based environments.

- Solid understanding of CI/CD practices and how they apply to testing and quality assurance processes.
