Area Sales Manager- HoReCa- FMCG

Role & responsibilities

• Direct the sales team and establish sales targets brand & category wise, help them in breaking the same geographically, monthly, weekly & daily targets.
• Motivate & direct sales team to establish coverage, distribution and display objectives to meet sales targets.
• Monthly, weekly and quarterly forecasting, analyze stock movement/ availability.
• Achieve the sales target of Salt & Spices both in value & volume.
• Ensure the timely collection of payments.
• Ensure satisfactory resolution of client queries and concerns in timely manner.
• Ensure successful launch of new product.
• Increase morale in team and maintain discipline and decorum in team
• Planning and structuring the business and team. Coach, guide and develop team.
• Grow the business through market expansion and account conversions.
• Develop relationships with key accounts, understand their needs and prove immediate solutions.
• Travel across specified/ designated area markets as described and assigned by the Seniors.
• Define sales plan to team.
• Support and supervise sales team.
• Analyze competitor activities and formulate business strategies for the growth of existing and new business with the objective of achieving greater market share and profitability.
• Share customer queries, complaints and suggestions with sales team and allocate queries and complaints to the concern salesperson and ensure perfect follow up.
