Social Media Specialist

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Management & Campaign Building:

• Develop and manage monthly social media calendars to plan posts and campaigns.
• Assist in executing platform-specific campaigns, focusing on Instagram and X, (formerly Twitter) growth.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless execution of social media strategies and campaigns.

Content Development & Design:

• Create and schedule engaging, platform-specific content for Instagram and X.
• Write clear, concise, and compelling copy to drive engagement and interaction.
• Work closely with designers to ensure visually appealing and brand-consistent posts.

Understanding the Brand Narrative:

• Understand the story and purpose behind the brand (Dexian India) and its service offerings and translate them into a captivating narrative for the social media audience.
• Conduct primary and secondary research to add value to the narrative with statistics and comparisons.

Creative Management:

• Creatively manage brand pages/accounts with the right aesthetics, creatives, and designs (basic design knowledge is sufficient).
• Manage Instagram and Twitter for the company by collaborating with other teams.
• Research and monitor competitors to refine strategies and identify opportunities.

Platform Expertise & Trends:

• Stay informed on the latest features, trends, and best practices for Instagram and X.
• Leverage platform-specific tools like Instagram Reels, Stories, X-Threads to enhance engagement.

Analytics & Reporting:

• Use tools like Hootsuite, Zoho Social, Sprout Social, and Social Pilot to schedule posts and track basic analytics.
• Support the preparation of reports on engagement, reach, and follower growth to evaluate performance.

AI Technology & Tools:

• Explore AI-powered tools for content creation and ideation under the guidance of senior team members.
• Learn and apply prompt engineering techniques to improve efficiency.
• Knowledge of Canva is an added advantage.

Team Collaboration & Project Support:

• Work collaboratively with designers, writers, and team members to achieve campaign objectives.
• Exhibit strong organizational skills to manage assigned tasks and meet deadlines.
• Provide support in monitoring social media performance and suggesting improvements.

Experience and Skills:

• Passionate individual who consumes and creates content regularly.
• Solid understanding of social media platforms, especially Instagram and X.
• Strong copywriting skills (non-AI-generated content preferred) and content creation expertise.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to contribute to team goals.
