Senior Magento Backend Developer (8-20 yrs)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Magento Backend Developer with 8+ years of expertise in developing, customizing, and optimizing Magento-based eCommerce solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for backend development, API integrations, module customization, performance optimization, and troubleshooting complex issues in Magento 2.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and enhance Magento 2 backend functionalities.

- Build and optimize custom Magento modules and extensions.

- Develop and integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and shipping methods.

- Optimize Magento performance, scalability, and security.

- Troubleshoot and debug complex Magento-related issues.

- Ensure adherence to best coding practices and maintain high-quality code.

- Work closely with frontend developers, UX designers, and project managers.

- Implement CI/CD workflows for seamless deployment.

- Manage database optimization and indexing strategies.

-Stay updated with the latest Magento updates, security patches, and industry trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 8+ years of experience in Magento backend development.

- Strong proficiency in Magento 2 (Adobe Commerce).

- Expertise in PHP, MySQL, and MVC frameworks (Zend/Laminas, Symfony, Laravel, etc.).

- Hands-on experience with REST, GraphQL, and SOAP APIs.

- Proficiency in Magento module development, customization, and extension creation.

- Strong understanding of EAV database structure and Magento indexing.

- Experience in performance optimization, caching (Redis, Varnish), and CDN integration.

- Familiarity with version control systems like Git, Bitbucket, or GitLab.

- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

- Knowledge of Magento security best practices and PCI compliance.

- Experience in Magento headless commerce and PWA (optional but preferred).

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
