SDWAN Support Specialist (5-10 yrs)

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced SD-WAN Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing, troubleshooting, and optimizing SD-WAN solutions. You will play a critical role in ensuring network stability, performance, and security while supporting enterprise customers.

Key Responsibilities :

- Provide Level 2/3 technical support for SD-WAN infrastructure and resolve customer issues.

- Troubleshoot connectivity, performance, and security issues across SD-WAN environments.

- Configure, deploy, and optimize SD-WAN solutions from vendors like Cisco Viptela, VMware VeloCloud, Fortinet, or similar.

- Work closely with network engineering teams to ensure seamless SD-WAN integration.

- Monitor network health and proactively identify performance bottlenecks.

- Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams to implement best practices.

- Maintain and update technical documentation and knowledge bases.

- Provide training and guidance to junior engineers and support staff.

Previous experience in network administration, preferably with SD-WAN technology.

Key Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in network support, with a focus on SD-WAN technologies.

- Strong knowledge of WAN, LAN, MPLS, VPN, BGP, OSPF, and QoS.

- Experience with SD-WAN platforms like Cisco Viptela, VMware VeloCloud, Fortinet, Silver Peak, etc.

- Proficiency in troubleshooting network issues using tools like Wireshark, SNMP, Syslog, etc.

- Hands-on experience with firewalls, security policies, and cloud-based networking.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Certifications such as CCNP, NSE, VCP-NV, or equivalent are a plus.

- Strong understanding of networking principles, routing protocols, proficiency in SD-WAN software, and excellent problem-solving abilities.

- Minimum 2-3 years of active experience in network security products; role such as installation/support engineer.

- In depth working knowledge of TCP/IP v4 and basic understanding of TCP/IP v6.

- Good Knowledge on network architectures and solutions (routing, switching, software defined Network and network Security)

- Certifications : Relevant certifications (e.g., Aruba SDWAN certification) can be beneficial.

- Certifications such as CCNP/CCNP , NSE, VCP-NV, Cisco or equivalent are a plus.
