SDWAN Support Specialist - Network Operations Center (5-8 yrs)

Position : SD-WAN Support Specialist

Location : Nairobi, Kenya

Key Responsibilities :

Network Operations : Manage daily support and operations of SD-WAN networks, ensuring peak performance and minimizing downtime.

Issue Resolution : Diagnose and resolve network-related issues, providing technical support to internal teams and external clients.

Security Management : Implement, maintain, and support network security measures, including firewall configurations and threat monitoring.

System Maintenance : Conduct regular updates and maintenance to ensure smooth network functionality.

Documentation : Maintain comprehensive records of network configurations, support actions, and issue resolutions.

Required Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience : Proven background in network administration, with hands-on experience in SD-WAN technology preferred.

Technical Skills : Strong grasp of networking fundamentals, routing protocols, SD-WAN software expertise, and excellent troubleshooting skills.

Certifications : Relevant certifications such as Aruba SD-WAN certification are advantageous.

Preferred Experience :

- 2-3 years of practical experience with network security products, particularly in roles focused on installation and support.

- Solid knowledge of TCP/IP v4, with a basic understanding of TCP/IP v6.

- Strong understanding of network architecture and solutions, including routing, switching, software-defined networking (SDN), and network security.

- Certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are highly valued.
