Job Overview:

We are looking for a talented and experienced Grafana Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing Grafana dashboards and visualizations to provide actionable insights for business intelligence and monitoring. You will work with a variety of data sources and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective, scalable, and interactive data visualizations for real-time monitoring, alerting, and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement interactive, user-friendly dashboards and visualizations in Grafana for monitoring system performance, business metrics, and other KPIs.
• Integrate Grafana with different data sources such as Prometheus, Elasticsearch, InfluxDB, MySQL, and others.
• Develop and optimize queries to efficiently fetch and display large-scale time-series and log data in Grafana.
• Customize Grafana panels and plugins to extend the platforms capabilities and tailor visualizations for specific use cases.
• Create alerting systems and notifications to proactively monitor the health of systems, applications, and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with DevOps, IT, and data teams to ensure that the appropriate data is ingested and properly formatted for Grafana visualizations.
• Optimize Grafana queries and dashboards to ensure performance is maintained even under high data volumes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Grafana issues, ensuring the availability and reliability of dashboards and data sources.
• Automate the configuration and deployment of Grafana instances using infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Maintain and document best practices for Grafana dashboard design, usage, and performance optimization.
• Provide training and support to teams and users to effectively utilize Grafana for monitoring and data analysis.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Grafana Developer, Grafana Administrator, or in a similar role with hands-on experience in designing and managing Grafana dashboards.
• Solid experience with integrating Grafana with a wide variety of data sources (e.g., Prometheus, Elasticsearch, InfluxDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Strong understanding of time-series data, monitoring systems, and related technologies.
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries and PromQL (Prometheus Query Language).
• Experience with Grafana's alerting and notification mechanisms.
• Familiarity with Grafana plugins, custom panels, and advanced dashboard features.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization/orchestration technologies is a plus.
• Understanding of infrastructure monitoring, cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), and application monitoring.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve performance issues with Grafana and the underlying data sources.
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
