Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Druid Developer to join our team. As a Druid Developer, you will work on developing and optimizing high-performance real-time analytics systems, focusing on Apache Druid, to support large-scale data processing. You will play a key role in enhancing the efficiency and scalability of our data pipeline, enabling data-driven insights across various business functions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Apache Druid-based data solutions for real-time analytics and data exploration.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop solutions for complex data challenges.
• Optimize the performance of Druid clusters to handle high data ingestion rates and provide low-latency query responses.
• Monitor Druid cluster health, troubleshoot performance issues, and implement best practices for cluster configuration and scaling.
• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines that integrate data from various sources into Druid.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to ensure Druid integrates smoothly with other tools in the data ecosystem.
• Write automated tests and documentation for your code and solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure the quality of the codebase.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in developing and managing Apache Druid systems.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and databases.
• Experience with Druid's core components such as ingestion, indexing, and query engines.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, SQL, Python, or similar.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for deploying and managing Druid clusters.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, real-time analytics, and big data technologies (e.g., Kafka, Hadoop).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
