Job Title: DevOps Lead Engineer, VP

Role Description:

The Bulk Payments Tribe delivers the technical solution for bulk payments/mass payments within the bank. For example SEPA payments with which we cover more than 90% of DBs payments volume. Our tribe closely works with the business partners of the Corporate Bank. Our job is the integration, development and introduction of payments systems.

Your key responsibilities

Enhance Test and Deployment Automation (CI/CD):

• Lead initiatives to improve and expand our test automation and deployment automation processes.
• Implement cutting-edge CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve bottlenecks in the automation process.

Develop a Robust Test Automation Framework:

• Architect and develop a comprehensive Test Automation Framework using Java 17, Spring Boot, Cucumber, Mockito, JUnit5, Lombok, and OpenAPI.
• Ensure the framework is scalable, maintainable, and capable of supporting complex testing scenarios.
• Mentor junior engineers in best practices for test automation and framework development.

Automate Integration and Deployment Across Environments:

• Design and implement automation solutions for integration and deployment in functional test environments, UAT, controlled UAT (ConUAT), and Production.
• Ensure automated processes are reliable, efficient, and aligned with industry standards.
• Work closely with DevOps and QA teams to streamline deployment workflows and reduce manual intervention.

Upgrade and Maintain Infrastructure Components:

• Lead the upgrade and maintenance of critical infrastructure components, including Oracle Databases, MQ, Kafka, Unix, and NFS.
• Ensure infrastructure upgrades are planned and executed with minimal disruption to services.
• Collaborate with IT and operations teams to ensure infrastructure components are optimized for performance and reliability.

Your skills and experience

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Lead Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of SEPA payment schemes and regulations.
• Proficiency in Java 17, Spring Boot, Cucumber, Mockito, JUnit5, Lombok, and Openshift.
• Experience with test automation and CI/CD processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
