General Manager - Human Resources
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior business stakeholders to understand organizational goals and requirements, and develop a roadmap for HR interventions aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Design and implement tailored HR solutions and programs that support business and HR objectives.
- Work closely with business leaders to develop organizational structures and talent strategies that meet future growth needs.
- Lead, conceptualize, and execute HR initiatives across key areas such as talent management, performance management, employee engagement, retention, leadership development, and recognition programs.
- Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, structured connects, performance appraisals, rewards and recognitions (R&Rs), payroll, exits, retention strategies, employee grievances, queries, to ensure seamless execution.
- Provide guidance to teams and managers on matters related to compliance, performance issues, and employee behavior, while supporting HODs and managers effectively.
- Develop, implement, and manage HR dashboards to track key HR metrics and deliver actionable insights to leadership.
- Leverage data and analytics to enhance employee experience, engagement, and retention efforts.
- Conduct structured employee interactions, including focus group discussions (FGDs) and one-on-one meetings, to gather feedback and address concerns.
- Ensure strong process adherence across onboarding, feedback mechanisms, HR workflows, grievance handling, and exit processes.
- Organize town halls, employee engagement activities, surveys, and structured connects to promote open communication and foster a positive work environment.

- Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
- A thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.
Required Qualifications:
- Postgraduate degree in MBA in HR from a recognized university.
- SHRM Certification is a plus.
- Should have 10+ yrs of experience in HR role/HRBP.
