Job Description

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced E-commerce and Digital Manager to drive the digital growth and online presence of our frozen food brand. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our e-commerce platforms, increasing digital sales, and implementing strategies to enhance our online customer experience. You will work closely with marketing, operations, and product teams to ensure seamless integration between our digital storefront and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • E-commerce Strategy Development
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce strategy to enhance the online presence and grow revenue.
    • Identify opportunities for improving customer engagement, conversion rates, and sales through digital channels.
    • Stay updated on e-commerce trends and industry best practices to implement innovative approaches.
  • Platform Management
    • Manage and optimize the companys online stores (website, third-party platforms like Amazon, Walmart, etc.) ensuring product listings are up-to-date, accurate, and optimized for search engines.
    • Coordinate product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns on digital platforms.
    • Monitor the user journey, optimizing the online purchasing process to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Digital Marketing Integration
    • Collaborate with the digital marketing team to align e-commerce initiatives with online advertising, social media campaigns, SEO/SEM, and email marketing.
    • Work on SEO strategies to ensure high visibility for frozen food products on search engines and increase organic traffic.
    • Manage paid campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.) focused on driving traffic to the online store and increasing conversions.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting
    • Utilize analytics tools (Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, etc.) to monitor sales, customer behavior, website performance, and ROI on marketing activities.
    • Provide regular performance reports to leadership, with actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
    • Track and analyze customer feedback and reviews to improve product offerings and the online shopping experience.
  • Customer Experience Optimization
    • Enhance user experience (UX) and ensure the website is responsive, intuitive, and easy to navigate.
    • Focus on providing excellent customer service by ensuring fast responses to inquiries and addressing online order issues promptly.
    • Manage customer retention strategies (e.g., loyalty programs, email marketing campaigns) to increase repeat purchases.
  • Team Collaboration & Leadership
    • Work cross-functionally with sales, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure inventory levels are aligned with demand from digital platforms.
    • Collaborate with creative teams to develop engaging content and visuals for product listings and digital promotions.
    • Lead, mentor, and manage junior e-commerce staff or external agencies (if applicable) to drive project execution.
  • Sales Forecasting & Budgeting
    • Develop and manage the e-commerce budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for campaigns and platform enhancements.
    • Set monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for digital channels and work toward achieving them.

Qualifications

  • Education: Any Bachelor's degree preferrable Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in e-commerce management, preferably within the food or consumer goods industry.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Experience with digital marketing (SEO, SEM, social media ads, email campaigns).
    • Data-driven mindset with proficiency in web analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.).
    • Excellent project management, communication, and team collaboration skills.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Knowledge of frozen food products and the food industry is a plus.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in UX/UI optimization and improving the digital customer experience.
  • Familiarity with logistics and fulfillment strategies in e-commerce, especially in the food industry.
  • Knowledge of B2B and B2C e-commerce strategies and sales models.
