Logistics Executive

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Executive to join our team at our manufacturing plant in Ambala, Haryana. The Logistics Executive will play a key role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials, inventory, and finished goods to and from the plant. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage logistics operations in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transportation Management: Coordinate the inbound and outbound transportation of materials, ensuring timely delivery and cost optimization.
• Inventory Control: Manage raw materials and finished goods inventory, track stock levels, and ensure proper documentation for inventory transactions.
• Order Processing: Monitor orders, shipments, and deliveries, ensuring accuracy in product handling and compliance with deadlines.
• Warehouse Management: Supervise and maintain the efficient organization of the warehouse and ensure proper stock handling and storage practices.
• Vendor Coordination: Liaise with suppliers, third-party logistics providers, and transporters to ensure smooth and timely delivery of goods.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain all necessary logistics records and documentation (e.g., shipment details, delivery notes, inventory reports) and generate reports for management review.
• Cost Control: Monitor logistics costs, seek cost-effective solutions, and help identify opportunities for process improvements to reduce expenses.
• Compliance: Ensure all logistics operations comply with relevant regulations, including safety, environmental, and legal requirements.
• Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues related to deliveries, stock discrepancies, or transport delays.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in logistics software, ERP systems, or warehouse management systems (WMS). Knowledge of Excel and data analysis tools is an advantage.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination with suppliers, transporters, and team members.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues in logistics operations and develop effective solutions to overcome them.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in managing stock levels, tracking shipments, and handling documents.
• Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiple responsibilities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with transportation laws, customs regulations, and health and safety standards.
