Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand market presence in the zone.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth.
Team Leadership:
- Manage and mentor a team of RBMs and DBMs.
- Conduct regular team meetings, set clear objectives, and provide constructive feedback to enhance team performance.
Sales and Revenue Management:.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and KPIs to assess productivity and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop innovative sales strategies and promotional campaigns to maximise revenue and achieve the company goals.
- Implementing 100% Field compliance in respective zone ( Call average , Repeat call average , Productivity etc).
- Implementing a sales force effectiveness system across the zone.
Payment collection :
- Collection of payment from all stakeholders (Doctors , C&F , Distributors).
Training and Development:.
- Identifying the training needs analysis for the employees.
- Implement training programs for the sales team to enhance their product knowledge, selling skills, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Keeping yourself abreast of latest market trends and networking activities happening within the pharma industry.
Relationship Management:.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, distributors, and other stakeholders in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, regulatory affairs, and supply chain to ensure seamless execution of business strategies.
Budget and Resource Allocation:.
- Planning quarterly zone budget as per the Business target.
- Manage the zonal budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve business objectives.
- Monitor expenses and control costs within the allocated budgetary limits.
- Managing travelling budgets in the most cost effective way.
Compliance and Ethics:.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines, company policies, and ethical standards in all business activities.
- Uphold the company's values and promote a culture of integrity and professionalism.
Candidature Profile:.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A Masters degree (MBA) is preferred.
- Experience: At least 12-15 years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical sales.
- Ability to travel within the designated zone and occasionally nationally as required.
- Should have experience of 3rd line manager in similar role with Derma Segment.
- Should have geography exposure of entire North zone.
