- Developing sales plans including identification of target groups, marketing tactics and timelines; participate in the planning and sales process for new business opportunities.
- Developing and implementing short and long- term effective sales strategies and lead nationwide sales teams to achieve sales targets.
- Meeting assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic market objectives through dealer network for the growth of organization.
- Introducing dealer management practices that include developing performance objectives, financial targets and critical milestones associated with a productive dealer relationship.
- Appointing new dealers as well as developing the competency of weak dealers across the country.
- Coordinating with regional and unit managers for development of sales and marketing programs required for achieving targeted objectives for the dealers.
- Providing quality leadership for internal teams for handling dealers and responsible for training teams to effectively sell products.
- Managing potential dealer conflict by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to rules of Engagement.
- Monitoring, analysing performance metrics, suggesting improvements, negotiating and closing agreements with large customers.
- Evaluating market trends and gathering competitive information, identifying trends that effect current and future growth of regional sales and profitability. Disseminating information to regional sales representatives, corporate marketing and sales.
- Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts and supervising preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual sales report.
- Making optimum use of Market intelligence to identify new market opportunities and liaising with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency.
- Monitoring weekly sales and customer service meetings to ensure the teams are on track to achieve and exceed budgeted targets, through motivation, counselling, skills development and product knowledge development.
