About Position :

We are seeking a seasoned Adobe Commerce Head to lead our e-commerce architecture, strategy, and execution. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Adobe Commerce (Magento) and a strong track record of delivering scalable, high-performance B2B and B2C e-commerce solutions. In this role, you will drive the design, development, and optimization of Adobe Commerce Cloud implementations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, technical experts, and business stakeholders to enhance platform capabilities, establish best practices, and lead digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and execute strategic initiatives to drive business growth, client satisfaction, and team development.

- Oversee day-to-day operations, including project management, resource allocation, and performance monitoring.

- Lead B2B commerce initiatives, including corporate accounts, customer-specific pricing, bulk ordering, self-service portals, ERP & CRM integrations, and multi-tier workflows to optimize B2B digital operations.


- Collaborate with global teams to align on best practices and contribute to the organization's strategic growth.

- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring seamless communication, project success, and long-term partnerships.

This role is pivotal in positioning the organization as a leader in Adobe Commerce solutions, driving innovation, and ensuring the successful delivery of impactful digital experiences across B2B and B2C markets.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategic Leadership & Business Growth :

- Develop and implement the strategic vision for the Adobe practice in India, aligning with global business goals. - Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify opportunities, pitch Adobe Commerce solutions, and drive business expansion.

- Act as the primary liaison for key clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and identifying opportunities for account growth.

- Oversee project execution, ensuring on-time delivery, high-quality standards, and business impact. - Manage resource allocation, track project performance, and ensure adherence to KPIs and organizational standards. - Work closely with global teams, internal departments, and external vendors to drive collaboration and service excellence.

Solution Design & Architecture :

- Design and architect high-performing, scalable, and secure e-commerce solutions using Adobe Commerce (Magento) Cloud.

- Lead the architectural design process, ensuring solutions align with business needs and industry best practices. Technical Leadership & Team Development :

- Lead, mentor, and guide development teams throughout the SDLC, ensuring adherence to best practices, quality standards, and project timelines.

- Conduct technical reviews, code reviews, and design reviews to ensure the delivery of optimal solutions. o Foster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge-sharing, training teams on new technologies, design patterns, and Adobe Commerce advancements.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement :

- Work closely with stakeholders to communicate project progress, risks, and technical insights.

- Identify and implement solutions that enhance the overall customer experience and business growth.

Knowledge, Skills, & Experience :

Knowledge :

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.


- Deep expertise in Adobe Commerce (Magento), including Adobe Commerce Cloud and Magento Open Source.


- Strong understanding of e-commerce architecture, performance optimization, scalability, and security best practices.


- Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Cloud products mainly related to Adobe Commerce

- Adobe Certified Expert - Adobe Commerce or equivalent certification is mandatory.

- Proven experience in enterprise-level e-commerce transformations, with a focus on Adobe Commerce. Nice to Have :

- Familiarity with headless commerce architectures, PWA (Progressive Web Apps), and microservices-based e-commerce solutions.

- Knowledge of Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD best practices for Adobe Commerce development.

- Understanding of global e-commerce trends, emerging Adobe technologies, and omnichannel strategies.

Skills :

- Leadership & Team Management : Strong ability to mentor, coach, and build high-performing teams in a fast-paced e commerce environment.

- Client Engagement & Relationship Management : Expertise in managing key clients, business stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver innovative Adobe Commerce solutions.

- Technical Excellence : Deep understanding of Adobe Commerce architecture, customizations, and third-party integrations (ERP, CRM, OMS, payment gateways, and analytics tools).

- Strategic Thinking & Problem-Solving : Ability to define, implement, and optimize e-commerce strategies to drive business growth.

- Project & Delivery Management : Advanced planning, execution, and resource allocation skills to ensure smooth project delivery.

Desirable Skills :

- Exceptional communication & presentation skills for engaging with senior stakeholders and executive leadership.


- Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret business requirements, e-commerce KPIs, and data-driven insights. Proficiency in collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Office Suite, and e-commerce analytics platforms.


Experience :

- 15+ years of experience in e-commerce, IT, or digital transformation, with at least 5+ years leading Adobe Commerce (Magento) projects.

- Proven track record in large-scale Adobe Commerce implementations, migrations, and performance optimization.


- Experience in managing global teams across geographies in a client-facing leadership role.

Beneficial :

- Prior experience in fast-paced consulting or agency environments, delivering Adobe Commerce solutions for enterprise clients.

- Background in developing go-to-market strategies and driving business growth through Adobe Commerce. Experience in handling business operations in the APAC region is a strong advantage.
