Responsible for developing a data strategy, working with stakeholders to define requirements, and centralizing and managing large data sets to identify trends in the data and provide executive summaries for senior management.

Strong experience in assisting business stakeholders with the decomposition of complex business requirements into Epics and User Stories that can be delivered by Technology teams via respective backlogs with minimum cross product co-ordination.

Strong experience in collaborating with Data Delivery team, multiple Business Functions to ensure successful end to end delivery of trusted data to meet business use case objectives.

Experience in identifying and implementing continuous improvement in data sourcing and data output to ensure risks, controls, issues, and actions are understood and reported effectively for senior management review and action.

Strong experience in preparing business and use case requirements, translating these into detailed stories, including creation of wireframes and storyboards where appropriate for large scale regulatory and finance transformation project in the global banks.

Document business requirements, clearly by articulating assumptions, interpretations, non-functional and data requirements for large scale transformation programme.

Experience in preparing project documentation such as Project Charter, Project Initiation Document, Business Requirement Document, Test Cases, UAT Testing and Project Closure Document.

Strong understanding of requirements underpinning the rules and remediation policies, procedures, practices and the ability to provide SME knowledge to a large transformational project.

Exposure on Business finance and banking systems with the ability to understand, interpret and refine dataflow.

Strong experience in performing controls testing, design and implementation testing, operating effectiveness testing for various finance processes.

Strong experience in working with product owners and architects to develop technology roadmaps based on the Compliance IT strategy.

Hands on experience in participating in Agile Sprint Ceremonies with refining, management, and prioritization of the product backlog and demonstrating a high technical aptitude to enable collaboration with IT and ensure requirements are understood for successful delivery.

Hands on experience on report progress, issues, dependencies and risks to steering committees / initiative leadership and make recommendations to influence decision making to maintain progress towards delivery and benefits realization.

Ensure all queries from stakeholders are dealt with in a complete and timely fashion. Support other specific tasks or projects related to Governance Packs or other initiatives within the team.

Build relationships by communicating, influencing and negotiating effectively with senior managers, technical experts, product owners and business users.

To be successful in this role you will have:

University degree with minimum 6- 10 years relevant work experience.

Good understanding of Capital Market, banking operations and processes preferably in a Risk and/or Finance context.

Expert in Change Management Principles.

Experience of Agile (Scrum) or waterfall, certifications desirable

Experience with project or collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence

Experience with SQL, Python and/or other data query languages.

Hands on experience working on Hadoop Big Data, Delta Lake and Google Cloud Platform technologies is advantageous.

Experience or knowledge on Data Virtualizations products (QlikSense, Tableau and PowerBI etc.) technologies desirable.

Experience or knowledge on Data Security, Entitlements and Encryption products and technologies desirable.

Experience or knowledge on observability, monitoring and instrumentation products and technologies desirable.

Clear and concise written and verbal communication skill and ability to engage with all levels of management including non-technical stakeholders.
