Role Description -

Forescout

Device Configuration:

• Expertly configure Forescout CounterACT and its associated modules to align with the organizations security requirements.
• Develop and implement customized policies, rules, and workflows within the Forescout platform.
  Network Security Design:
• Collaborate closely with the security team to conceptualize and deploy network security solutions using Forescout technologies.
• Conduct a thorough assessment of the existing network architecture and propose enhancements to fortify the overall security posture.
  Integration:
• Seamlessly integrate Forescout with other essential security tools and systems, such as SIEM, NAC, IDS/IPS, to create a comprehensive ecosystem for threat detection and response.
• Ensure the smooth coexistence of Forescout within the organizations current network infrastructure.
  Policy Development:
• Spearhead the development and maintenance of security policies and procedures related to Forescout configurations.
• Establish and enforce access control policies and compliance requirements to safeguard network assets.
  Monitoring and Alerting:
• Set up real-time monitoring of network endpoints and devices using Forescouts capabilities.
• Configure alerts and notifications to promptly respond to security incidents and anomalies, fortifying the organizations security posture.
  Troubleshooting and Support:
• Offer technical support and troubleshooting expertise for issues related to Forescout, ensuring timely issue resolution.
• Collaborate effectively with the support team to address and resolve escalated incidents, minimizing potential disruptions.
  Documentation:
• Maintain meticulous documentation of Forescout configurations, design decisions, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Keep this documentation up to date with any modifications to ensure comprehensive records for future reference.
  Training and Knowledge Sharing:
• Play a key role in training other team members and end-users in utilizing Forescout technologies effectively.
• Stay current with the latest developments in Forescout and actively share knowledge within the team to foster a culture of continuous improvement and awareness.

Location and way of working

• Base location: Bengaluru
• This profile involves frequent / occasional travelling to client locations OR this profile does not involve extensive travel for work.
