Role Description -

DLP (MicroSoft)

• DLP Configuration:
• Configure and fine-tune the DLP platform to monitor and protect sensitive data across the organizations network, endpoints, and cloud services.
• Develop and implement custom DLP policies, rules, and workflows.
• Data Classification and Discovery:
• Implement data classification policies and mechanisms to automatically identify and classify sensitive data.
• Perform data discovery scans to locate and categorize sensitive data within the organization.
• Security Design:
• Collaborate with the security team to design and implement DLP-based data security solutions.
• Assess the current data security architecture and recommend enhancements to strengthen data protection.
• Incident Detection and Response:
• Configure DLP rules to detect and respond to data security incidents, such as data leaks and policy violations.
• Collaborate with incident response teams to investigate and mitigate data security incidents.
• Integration:
• Integrate DLP solutions with other security tools and systems, including SIEM, email gateways, and cloud security platforms, to provide comprehensive data security coverage.
• Ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
• Policy Enforcement and Compliance:
• Develop and enforce data security policies related to DLP, including encryption and access controls.
• Monitor and report on compliance with data security regulations and internal policies.
• Documentation:
• Maintain detailed documentation of DLP configurations, design decisions, and incident response procedures.
• Keep documentation up to date with any changes.
• Training and Knowledge Sharing:
• Provide training to other team members and end-users on DLP technologies and best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in DLP technology and share knowledge within the team.

Location and way of working

• Base location: Bengaluru
• This profile involves frequent / occasional travelling to client locations OR this profile does not involve extensive travel for work.
