Job Summary:
The Assistant Restaurant Manager is responsible for supporting the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maintaining quality standards, and leading the restaurant team at Della Adventure & Resorts Japanese restaurant. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in hospitality, an understanding of Japanese cuisine and service etiquette, and excellent leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in managing day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow and high-quality guest experiences.
Supervise and train restaurant staff on Japanese dining etiquette, menu knowledge, and service excellence.
Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and safety standards as per FSSAI and company policies.
Monitor food presentation, portion control, and overall consistency in line with Japanese culinary traditions.
Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally to maintain high customer satisfaction.
Assist in inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling costs to meet budgetary requirements.
Work closely with the kitchen team to coordinate food preparation and timely service.
Oversee reservations, seating arrangements, and table turnover to maximize revenue.
Support marketing initiatives and promotions to enhance brand presence and attract customers.
Maintain accurate records of daily operations, sales, and employee performance.
Ensure team adherence to company policies, grooming standards, and code of conduct.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Restaurant Management, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in restaurant operations, preferably in a Japanese restaurant or fine dining setup.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of Japanese cuisine, culture, and traditional dining customs is a plus.
Experience in handling POS systems and restaurant management software.
Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and maintain a high level of professionalism.
Proficiency in English; knowledge of Japanese is an advantage.
