Housekeeping Manager

1. Should able to prepare daily work schedule and assigns supervisors/assistant managers to different tasks depending on the hotel requirements for the day.

2. Should ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of hotel rooms and to ascertain that they are properly stocked with the supplies to which guests are entitled.

3. Supervise housekeeping staff and conduct detail inspection of all rooms and service areas.

4. Should conducts a daily and monthly inventory and liaises with the hotel procurement manager to ensure a constant supply of the supplies needed and maintain HK budgets.

5. Should immediately takes corrective action if any guest complaints are there.

6. Should report lost-and-found property as per SOP.

7. Recruit and train housekeeping staff and create reports for the higher management as and when required.

8. Ensure appropriate maintenance of all housekeeping equipment and tools.

9. Maintain inventory of tools and supplies used in housekeeping activities.

Job Expectations:

1. Should have working knowledge of rooms management, cost control and overall productivity.

2. In depth knowledge of assisting in monitoring team members performances and working towards further development

3. Highly skilled in planning, coordinating and directing all daily activities pertinent to departments.

4. Profound ability to anticipate guests needs and respond appropriately

5. Ability to multitask, Excellent organizational skills and Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Minimum Qualification: Graduation/ Diploma in Hotel Management is preferred. Minimum Job Experience: Minimum 7-10 years housekeeping experience in a managerial capacity with 5 Star Hotels / Facility Management Companies and out of that at least 2-3 Years experience as Assistant Manager Housekeeping.
