Senior Executive - Engineering Purchase

Role & responsibilities

ROLE:

The incumbent is responsible to Purchase the required materials on time as per requestion raided by user.

Negations with Service Provides and issued the AMC /ARC documents

Ensure start to finish process of Unit project purchasing i.e. from floating of enquiries to follow up for delivery. Intermittent stages will include:

• Vendor consolidation
• Negotiations
• Vendor development
• Vendor Management, Review and Ratings
• Technical evaluation
• Specification review and confirmation from users
• Preparation of BOM
• Prepare background for vendor negotiations
• Correspondence
• Preparation of commercial comparison statement
• Approval of purchase orders and notes
• Creation of PO in SAP S4Hana
• Order acknowledgement and supplier follow up

Other activities will include post order documentation, approval from respective users and new vendor development. The incumbent will be solely and ultimately responsible for expediting delivery at site. Wherever required, as per company policy appropriate Non Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) will also be taken up with the vendors.
