Estimation Manager

JD for Estimation Manager ( Mid level and Senior)

Estimation Development:

• Lead the preparation and development of cost estimates for new and ongoing manufacturing projects.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and procurement teams to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and scope of work to ensure all elements are considered in the estimation process.
• Preparation of BOQ, Billing, pay bills, and managing the Tendering process

Cost Analysis & Budgeting:

• Analyse historical data, vendor quotes, and market trends to provide accurate cost breakdowns.
• Prepare detailed estimates covering labour, materials, equipment, and overhead costs.
• Monitor and track costs throughout the project lifecycle to ensure adherence to budget and timelines.
• Negotiate terms and prices with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.

Reporting and Documentation:

• Prepare and maintain detailed records of all cost estimates, budgets, and contracts.
• Provide regular cost and progress reports to management, clients, and stakeholders.
• Ensure that all project-related documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 12years above experience in QS, BOQ, Tendering, within the construction or engineering industry.
