Group Head - Data Engineering

Role & responsibilities:

• Manage the team on a day-to-day basis, allocate responsibilities and work, and delegate responsibilities as appropriate.
• Manage internal team escalations, provides support with complex issues or requests for Generation.
• Act as a single point of contact for Generation IT support escalations, requests for preferred service, and complex questions, event and workshop management
• Infrastructure SPOC for all generation units.
• Managing All Generation plants infrastructure availability and reliability
• Ensure compliance and implementation of all policies, patches required.
• Implementation of new infrastructure related to initiatives such as Unified Historian, SCADA etc.
• Ensure asset register is current and covers all assets with CIA rating.
• Cybersecurity needs of all Generation plants including PPGCL IT / OT
• Networking - Design and implement virtual networks, subnets, and routing to facilitate
• Security and Compliance: Define and enforce security best practices IT / OT Infrastructure
• Collaboration and Communication with cross-functional teams, including Applications, IMD, OT etc.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Proven experience as a Infrastructure and service management.
• In-depth knowledge of Network, Security
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
