Job Description
We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer with a deep understanding of Web3 technologies and decentralized infrastructure. This role requires proficiency in frontend and backend development, along with a desire to code in TypeScript and Rust. The ideal candidate will work on our general-purpose blockchain data systems and contribute to dependencies, building robust solutions for scalable Web3 data processing.
Responsibilities
- Proficiency in both frontend and backend development with a focus on React, Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript, and GraphQL.
- Product-minded with a focus on crafting exceptional user experiences.
- Tackle complex challenges and provide innovative, straightforward solutions.
- Actively work on and improve DappLookers backend APIs, ETL capabilities, and backend systems.
- Familiarize yourself with the backend codebase, REST APIs, database models, and ETL systems.
- Write and deploy subgraphs and substreams to production.
- Review pull requests from team members, ensuring high-quality code and improvements.
- Participate in designing, building, testing, and automating the development infrastructure.
- Support, troubleshoot, and analyze code across all layers (infrastructure, middleware, and CI/CD frameworks).
- Document important aspects of the software and infrastructure.
What we Expect
- 2-8 years of hands-on experience in Web services and API development that scale to thousands of users.
- Understanding of subgraphs, Graph Protocol, smart contracts, and Solidity is a plus.
- Familiarity with Ethereum EVM is advantageous.
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and ES6 standards.
- Hands-on experience with RDBMS (Postgres) and NoSQL databases.
- Experience working with REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Experience in an Agile development environment.
- Familiarity with GitHub and cloud services (preferably AWS).
- Knowledge of Web3 protocols such as DeFi, NFTs, and DAOs is a bonus.
- Experience in team environments, resolving issues, and collaborating effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and automation skills, with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Strong communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical counterparts.
